Second Hand September

Inspired by Oxfam’s Second Hand September challenge this Jack Wills jumper - purchased from a local charity shop - was transformed into a one of a kind piece of wearable art. Over the course of seven days the jumper was restored, dyed, and embroidered with original illustrations of objects found in local charity shops and second hand items from my home that were given to me by family members. The entire process was filmed in order to encourage others to engage with sustainable practices and try the techniques for themselves.
