Knitscapes (2022) was a collaborative digital project between London based knitwear designer and artist Cat Brierley and Amsterdam based multimedia artist Niki Sophia. The artists, physically separated by hundreds of miles, built virtual landscapes via the medium of digital collage; creating a virtual space they could both inhabit remotely. The images were constructed through the act of play; experimenting with remote photography and passing back and forth compositions via WeTransfer and Zoom.
